Enviro-Save Metal Treatment Savings Calculations-GreenQuest Corporation

Following are calculations regarding benefits that would be realized on treating a fleet of 100 six or eight cylinder gas powered 2-wheel drive vehicles.

For the purpose of this calculation we will assume an average before treatment of 15 mpg at an average price of $3.50 per gallon of gas.

After the Enviro-Save Treatment customers normally see a 10% average reduction in fuel costs. We will, however, show calculations at both 5% and 10%.

We will also assume that each vehicle has a 20 gallon tank and uses 40 gallons of gas per week.

Each untreated vehicle would consume 2,080 gallons of gas per year at a cost of $7,280.00, and would produce as a result of operation 40,352 lbs of carbon dioxide (CO2).

Comparatively at 5%, an Enviro-Save treated vehicle would consume 1,976 gallons of gas and produce 38,334 lbs of CO2. The savings in direct fuel cost would be $364.00 and a reduction of 2,018 lbs CO2 emissions would be realized.

At 10%, an Enviro-Save treated vehicle would consume 1,872 gallons of gas and produce 36,316 lbs. of CO2. The savings in direct fuel costs would be $728.00 and a reduction of 4,036 lbs. CO2 emissions would be realized.

CO2 emissions from a gallon of gasoline = 19.4 pounds CO2 emissions from a gallon of diesel fuel = 22.2 pounds
