Automotive Treatment - Instruction Sheet
for Enviro-Save® Powertrain Protection Kit
Your Powertrain Protection Kit contains products to protect your vehicle's engine, transmission, transfer case (if 4 wheel
drive), differential(s) and power-steering. Once treated, you will save money in various ways and assist in reducing global pollution
by using Enviro-Save Engine & Powertrain Protection Metal Treatment.
For best results, the application procedures should be carried out at a convenient time when the vehicle or equipment can be
operated for 1 hour minimum after all components are treated. Treat the engine and fuel system last. Gas
engines must have clean oil and new oil filter prior to treating. Diesel Engines must use Enviro-Save
Diesel Engine Pre-Treatment Cleaner (8 - 10% of engine oil capacity) for 1000 km's (750 miles) or 15 hours accumulated operating time
prior to a hot oil change and oil filter(s). Diesel Engine Crankcase Treatment must be used with clean oil and new oil
filter(s).
-
Prior to pouring, invert and shake all containers vigorously for minimum 15 seconds to thoroughly disperse resin -
check bottom of container for resin / sufficient agitation. In cold climates, bring products up to room temperature prior
to agitation, Diesel Engine Pre-Treatment Cleaner does not contain resin.
-
Remove oil filler caps/plugs on transmission, transfer case, differential(s), and power-steering. Install
treatment from respective labeled containers. Make sure all filler caps/plugs are tight after treating.
-
The engine crankcase treatment must be agitated and poured into the engine via the oil filter opening, then
immediately start engine and drive vehicle or operate equipment for ONE hour minimum. If your vehicle has a diesel
engine, carefully read the yellow Diesel Engine Treatment Application Information Sheet prior to proceeding with treating
your engine.
-
The Fuel System/Top-End Treatment must be agitated and poured into the fuel tank immediately before the minimum
one hour operating period. For best results the fuel tank should be about ¼ - ½ full. Read recommendations on
container. Propane and natural gas fueled engines require the product to be misted into the carburetor air intake or into
a vacuum line that comes directly off the air intake manifold, while the engine is operating at a fast idle, 1,000 - 1,200
rpm.
NOTES:
Use only Enviro-Save Diesel Engine Treatment in diesel engines.
Enviro-Save Gear/Differential Treatment is technically formulated for use with either gear oils or automatic transmission
fluid in manual transmissions, transfer cases and differentials.
Use only Enviro-Save Automatic Transmission Treatment in automatic transmissions.
Enviro-Save is GUARANTEED not to cause any damage when used as directed.
